mama stories week 3

Nightly walks with my family have been good for the soul. Emmett sleeps on my chest, jamie bounces in the stroller. And the sky puts on a show…

The @planetmutu program has taught me so many things my second time through. To slow down. To love this new body. To be in the present moment.

MY GUY IS TWO MONTHS OLD. Wow. I know most mothers want to hold onto this phase, or wish time would slow. And although those are valid—I’ve started to really just appreciate my babies where they’re at. It’s special to witness them at timeframe ✨

Jamie is a dog trainer now—hit her up for all your needs!!! She’s also going to be two years old. Which is insane and magical.

I remember when I was going into labor with jamie, my first born, I had a quick thought in my head that it was weird that I was a teen parent. And then I remembered that I was almost 30. Most days I like to stay at home in my pajamas and drink tea. so I guess there’s no in between— I am either 12 or 85 years old.

did you know we haven’t even begun to find out everything about breastmilk? There are so many things we don’t know and so many magical powers that it attains. So when my babies are sick, I like to picture it as magical, powers, or magical beams of light, reaching their body and helping them feel better. you can’t prove to me that that isn’t the case…

OKAY— can we please stop calling ourselves baby experts? You’re not. You can state whatever degree you studied in school or the experience you have working with them but absolutely no one is an expert and a baby besides their mother 🤍
