mama stories week 1

I take a lot of time to curate my stories on Instagram every week. It’s a creative outlet for me & a way to share my life.

But once I hit that post button they are only visible for 24 hours. Then, gone forever.

I started thinking today ‘that really bothers me’. I want to hold onto them for longer than that.

And so….I created another task for me to complete every week! I want to save my favorite stories from the week and make a little digital diary. A mashup. A collection of my thoughts.

This blog has mainly been educational—I’m thinking this is a way to mix things up. I also don’t really care & just do things I want to do.

So, welcome!

How beautiful it is to be someone’s entire world

On the nights that are hard. On the days that are long. When my back aches from babywearing for 650 hours. This is my reminder. It is a gift.

We’re out here making our dreams come trueeeee. No but for real I love my podcast and I love listening to mothers stories.

It’s truly amazing the things we can accomplish with a baby strapped to our chest.

We took my 4 week old bub out on the boat & he loved it!

He slept the entire time.

But I know he loved it deep down.

*not pictured: me getting myself, my toddler, and a newborn ready and in the car with limited assistance 🫡

It’s weird navigating this space. I don’t know what I’m doing. But I do know I’m here to help.

That’s what keeps me going. I know there’s something more—I just haven’t fully tapped into it yet.

So if you’re in the same boat KEEP PUSHIN.

She sweet kitty girl: Nina

I call her Chookie. And Cookie.

She’s the sweetest soul. She’s the cat everyone loves.

She has been with me through so much. I take her for granted most days because I am so busy now. But I truly cannot imagine my life without her 🤎

I cut my daughters bangs myself & I’m getting less and less embarrassed each time I do it.

I don’t think I’m getting better at it.

Just less embarrassed.

“I CANT SEE THE MILK LEAVING MY BREAST SO HOW DO I KNOW MY BABY IS GETTING ENOUGH TO EAT??”

Diapers.

No literally.

AT LEAST 6 wet diapers a day. And yeah, they should poop everyday too.

But that’s it. That’s how you know!

Just safely bedsharing with my babies & screaming that you can tooooooo.

I would rather you learn how to safely bedshare than accidentally fall asleep in a way that could harm your baby.

I’m gonna miss this yard & this view.

That puppy stays with me though.

Wherever i go ❤️

Babies eat at night.

Prolactin is highest at night.

It’s normal but that doesn’t mean it isn’t hard! I see you if you’re also up at 2am ✨

First time wearing jeans in 10 months 👍🏼
